We can build to customer specification and drawing (build to print), or can work with clients to ensure design to manufacture (D2M), which is often overlooked by companies, but which is an integral part of our work process, to take an existing design and make modifications and improvements that benefit both the customer and our own manufacturing team.
Part of that process is to consider testing and assembly jigging (2D or 3D) to ensure the product right fist time, incorporating strain relief or custom backshelling to ruggedise the cable looms.
Our ability to build cable assemblies mixing both AirBorn and non AirBorn content enables us to give our customers unparalled solution versatility. Everything from a simple piece of crimped wire to a complete system box build can be completed in the same plant.
AirBorn continues to offer the widest range of Micro-miniature connectors available in the market today.
Our many years of Cable Assembly experience is not limited to using just our own manufactured connectors, industry standard Mil-Spec circulars (including D38999 and M5015 series) feature heavily in many of our assemblies.
Larger assemblies in particular benefit from our ability to concentrically or helically lay the wiring to increase flexibility, especially where frequent movement is demanded (ie test equipment)
We are happy to work with low volume short term prototype numbers, and longer term full scale production quantities.
